After the devastating news during the week in Europe I felt called to share some practices that can support the collative energy and what we can do on an individual level. I believe we are all connected energetically. We can feel each others happiness and sadness and all the emotions in between. We have all experienced that at one time or another. And we can support each other energetically across the globe too. I also believe we can support the collective by doing our bit to raise the energy and that every human matters in the mission of peace for humanity. If you’re after some support processing how you’re feeling about what is currently going on in the world here are some practices that can help. When the outside world feels uncertain, create certainty for yourself with regular rituals. This will support you to feel grounded, centered and connected.
#1. Limit exposure to news and radio. Listen to how it makes you feel inside your body and make your choice based on that. I have barely watched the news or listened to the radio in many, many years and my energy and mind feels much better for it. I get my information from trusted sources and then focus on how I can be a positive influence on the collective energy. #2. Mindful embodiment practice. Mindful embodiment allows you to come out of the thoughts of the mind and into the body where the present moment truly lives. It's from this space we can most efficiently take action on the following steps of 'feeling the feels' and 'sending loving energy and prayers to those in need'. I’ve been doing this 3 minute breathwork practice in the morning to bring me into my body and my inner world. You might like to do a guided meditation, walk on the grass and feel your feet, focus on the taste of your tea in the morning or place your hand on your heart and belly and take some slow breaths. #3. Feel the feels. If we don't feel the emotions arising within us, the energy stays trapped in our bodies and manifests in many ways including physical pain, injuries and conditions. This also keeps us stuck in old situations that no longer exist, preventing us from being truly present in the here and now I've then been sitting with my feelings and noticing where they are located in my body to let them pass through me after my breathwork practice and returning to peace within and then sending loving energy to those in need. #4. Send loving energy and prayers to those in need. Whatever you'd like to call it prayers, healing, energy, sitting with the feeling of love in your heart and the intention to send this energy to those who need it most right now supports the collective energy that we are all a part of. As part of the collective we can be best of service energetically when we can come back to a vibration of love in as many moments as possible. One way to practice this is: Place your hands on your heart, close your eyes and feel into your heart space as you focus on slow long breaths. Think of someone you love to allow yourself to open your heart and connect to the feeling of love. Then visualize the person or part of the world you wish to send loving energy to as you continue focus on your breath for as long as you feel called to. #5 Stay connected to your highest vibration in as many moments as possible. Repeat the following mantra to support intuitive inspiration so you can sit in your highest energy vibration in as many moments as possible. "I show up for myself with rituals that keep me grounded, centered and connected to my higher self". Then see which practice is calling you to support yourself to stay aligned to your higher self and do that. Taking aligned action is a great way to keep moving forward in a productive way for yourself and the collective consciousness. Sending you all oceans of love.
