Five powerful practices to support you to release old patterns (generational or other) that are no longer serving you in life so you can live a soul aligned intentional life.

​Firstly how do we know we have old patterns to release?
Some signs are:
- We keep repeating/ attracting the same non-aligned decisions, relationships that don't serve us, we can't make headway towards our dream job/ relationship/ life experiences no matter what we try,
- We feel lost or stuck in life and like 'the world is against us' and we can't get to a space of trust and acceptance allowing the power of surrender and our soul to take the lead,
- We feel like life is a constant uphill battle to feel just ok, but we want to feel lit up, inspired and thriving instead!


I say 'we' because I have felt all of these things at one point or another in life. And what has hands down made the BIGGEST difference has been releasing old patterns whether energetic, emotional or mental from generational, past life or current life.

I have been doing this powerful energetic work on myself for years and really want to share with you today how you can do it too!

When we work on our energy and shift the energy and patterns that no longer serve us we can life a soul-aligned life that is easier to flow with and absolutely love!

We can easily make more soul aligned choices, take intentional action and head towards the life we really want to live.

After all: “Intentional moments make an intentional day and intentional days make an intentional life.”

To get into intentional alignment with and take action on our souls desires we need to process old emotions and release generational and conditioned patterns so we let go of the same old habits taking over and repeating.

Here are the five powerful tools that I personally use to get into intentional alignment with living my souls desires and loving my life!


1. Acknowledge.

Acknowledge the patterns keeping you stuck by writing them down or sharing them with a loved one. Acknowledge how they make you feel (physically and emotionally), where you think they're coming from and how you'd life to feel instead. Such a simple step, but so powerful in taking the first step to making change!


2. Feel it to heal it.

Feel the emotions when they arise. As humans we generally don't want to feel emotions that we're not enjoying aka the fear, guilt, sadness, frustration etc. By not fully feeling them we trap them in our body. When we do make time to process and feel them we release the old patterns that are holding us back creating space for new energy, decisions and alignment to our soul desires.

3. Have a healing session.

Have a healing session and allowing a professional to hold space for you to process what’s coming up if it feels too big for you to do alone or you’re not sure how to,  can offer you the support you are after. 
It can feel scary sitting with big emotions and as humans we generally don't want to feel negative emotions so we often push them down and suppress them. 

In my sessions we do a lot of embodiment work, or feeling it to heal it, so we spend minimal time in the stories in your mind and most of the session in a space of releasing the emotions.

4. Journal it out.

I am always amazed at the power of writing it all down, the good, the bad and the ugly. I always find after writing it ALL down that clarity follows and I receive the guidance that I am after.

You might want to journal it out then burn it (safely), flush it, bury it, or leave it in your journal as part of your life experience.

Here are some journaling prompts for you to use:
* I feel stuck in life right now because...
* Thank you universe for some guidance on...
* I'm excited to experience more... in life.
* It feels hard to create new habits because...
* The past is holding me back because... and to release it I need to...
* I notice the following generational patterns that I have been repeating... the person I want to be instead would do/ think/ be...


5. Ask for Universal guidance.

This practice is simple and always so interestingly accurate.

I simply say a prayer like "Thank the universe for some guidance on releasing this (insert pattern) generational pattern", or "Thank you Universe for some guidance for my highest good right now." Then I shuffle until I feel like I am called to stop (you can use muscle testing here too. HERE is a video on how to muscle test.)

If the card I pull doesn't make sense I leave it on my bedside table or office desk until the lesson hits me. Most of the time I can resonate instantly with the card which still blows my mind every time! It's so amazing.

Finally, go easy on yourself while 'doing the work'. You are a beautiful soul having a human experience which is full of a full variety of experiences. So be kind and loving and patient with yourself and know that things can take time and persistence to shift.
