Why an Anchoring word?
I gave up setting new years resolutions years ago. Because i never stuck to them for long and then the cycle of guilt and starting again became too much of an unfulfilling game.
Now i regularly check in with my inner world, my heart and souls desires and my energy. 3 things that have come to support me in manifesting my desires.
So whats the point of an 'Anchoring word?'.
The last 3 years I have used these words as a reminder of my truth when i'm caught up in my ego, a reminder of the support I can offer myself when I'm feeling disconnected or unsupported, and a reminder of what is possible when I'm sitting in doubt and lack of belief.
Last year, in 2016, my anchoring words were: "Forgive, Receive & Simplify"
in 2015 they were: "Expand and Surender"
in 2014 it was: "Trust"
and this year, in 2017, they are: "Simplify, Surender and Receive"
Now for the fun part! Coming up with you word/s.
My process begins with some meditation and movement (yoga or a jog or bike ride), then I open up a conversation with my higher self/ the universe/ the divine and allow the words to come to me.
Some times my mind tries to jump in and force the process, but this never works.
It never feels right.
So, I ask something along the lines of...
"Thank you universe for showing me the best anchorig words for my highest good for 2017"
Then, I let it go and await to receive my guidance.
This year they came to me in a vision and I experienced a deep sense of calm, peace and alignment when I saw them.
Be sure to stay open to receiving them in many different ways.
In conversations with others there may be a common word popping up regularly?
On your social media feeds, that reocurring 'thought' that keeps dropping into your mind, in the books and magazines you read, in your dreams...
It can come in so many different ways.
When you have you word/s, feel in to them.
What's the palpable sensation they give you?
Now write them somewhere you will see them every day...
Your diary, bathroom mirror, computer background, post it notes, passwords, bedside table, fridge.
SO that in times of need, times of gratitude, times of gaining clarity, times of any, you can come back to this word/s and centre yourself, and remember your divine truth.
Let me know your words and process of receiving below, I love to hear your storys!
